I have a bit of a funky idea. I live in a multi-family building in Germany and want to make my intercom smart. I am planning to use a ESP32 to intercept the intercom signals in my flat and then trigger a call to answer the door on the fly (e.g. let the postman in).
For V2, I would like to add a camera to the door bell nameplate and transmit the data over the existing intercom wires.
Is there anyone crazy enough out there that thinks this could work?
If yes, which camera would you recommend? Am also happy to pay for support.
