Hi there,
I'm relatively new to the ESP32 world and currently using off the shelf ESP32-CAM boards from Amazon to create a live video stream in a prototype. I have designed a replica of this module (reference schematic found here- https://github.com/SeeedDocument/forum_ ... M_V1.6.pdf)- but it is being temperamental and heating a lot around the 1.2V regulator and the camera itself. I have attached my schematic to this post.
I have been able to flash the board using FTDI programmer/ Arduino Uno but when resetting after upload I receive 'camera not recognised' on the serial monitor. I have tried altering the board type in the code uploaded but no joy also. Any thoughts or recommendations as to why this overheating issue may be occurring would be greatly appreciated (schematic attached, we have removed the SD card slot as we don't need it for our application.
Many Thanks,
Alex
