Does ESP8684H4 come from the factory pre-loaded with firmware or do they need programming?

We have a PCD design that uses the ESP8684H4 and we need to know if this module comes pre loaded with firmware from the factory or if we are required to program them.

Generally, I don't think you can assume there's anything useful in the flash of chips. If you buy them directly from Espressif (above the MOQ), you can ask us to flash something specific in there. Contact sales@espressif.com if you want to go that route.
