Hi all,
I've recently bought my first ESP (the S2-WROVER module, without the "hat"), but when I'm trying to flash anything on it, be it the "hello world" example or MicroPython binary, using the Flash Tool, uPyCraft or idf.py, I get some sort of error message relating to the COM port, different for every tool, even after updating USB drivers via Zadig, so I figure something might be wrong with my hardware. Right now the connections are as follows:
GND -> Power supply ground
3V3 -> 3.3V from power supply
IO0 -> pulled low via a 1.5K resistor
EN -> pulled high via a 1.5K resistor
IO19 -> USB Data -
IO20 -> USB Data +
Am I doing something wrong? If yes, how can I fix it?
ESP32-S2-WROVER - unable to flash
Re: ESP32-S2-WROVER - unable to flash
Please send your schematic and error log through UART0, let us check if there is problem.
But I suggest you to change another ESP32-S2 module if you want to evaluate ESP32-S2, because this module is NRND. Or you could buy a devkit board, it is more convenient than a single module.
