Hi all,
I bought a Serial Port to USB programmer board for the ESP32 (https://www.aliexpress.com/i/4000515425227.html) but just can't seem to get it to work.
The programmer board has the following outputs
What I have tried to do is connect 3.3V and GND to my ESP32 WROOM-32D module's VCC and GND pin, TX0 and RX0 pins to the ESP32's TX0 and RX0 pins respectively, and BOOT0 and RST0 to ESP32 IO0 and EN pins respectively.
This connection doesn't work. Has anyone used this programmer board successfully before? Thanks in advance.

From module description you can see that BOOT0/1 and RST0/1 are open drain. Try to add pull up resistors.

I tried adding pull up resistors but it didn't work.
What also puzzles me is that when this module is plugged in to my computer, it detects 2 COM ports. It also doesn't come with a BOOT or RST button.
