I received news that the project did not reach the pledge goal and all pledged money will be refunded. The developers say they will implement Luanode anyway, and that Espressif intends to start making the ESP32 available in August.

I submitted a pledge, but I am seeing that only a fraction of the $30,000 goal amount has been pledged. Is the project moving forward anyway? The target date is July, not far away. Will the development kits be sent out and there will be a Lua implementation in July?

Have measurements been done to evaluate the power consumption of the ESP32 in various situations? Such as when transmitting WiFi and Bluetooth, with radios turned on and off, in sleep modes, etc?
