Yes, I feel there is some design error. I have tried to use your link to espressif team , but it does not work !!!

On a custom board based on a ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 (shema attached), I do not success to flash an application which works on a dev board. See the message below. I am surprised as many things seem to work : the chip is detected and even its MAC address is found but th flash stops. What do I miss ? Thanks ...

Have you successed in your project ? I have a similar project.

ADF_PATH is not set correctly (it is set to /bin)
so that idf.py set-target fails in step 6 of getting started...
I am obliged to
export ASF_PATH=/home/myself/myesp/esp-adf
before home/myself/myesp/esp-adf
and then it works...
.
