Upgrading the esptool to 4.4 fixed the problem. Now the correct chip and MAC address are listed. Thanks!

The main ESP-IDF tree stopped supporting the beta silicon since the final S3 hit the mass market, sorry. We suggest you switch to that chip. What do you mean with switch to that chip?
