If I want to start from the beginning and reinstall, do I need to delete all the ESP23 files?

What does "pointing to" mean? What do I do?

Ok thanks , I have tried all the other listed EPS32 boards that I can find.......uploaded the suggested windows drivers..... the pc makes a little dingaling when I plug it in. I selected ESP32 DEV MODULE as the board in IDE .........but grayed out port

I can't get a port conection in IDE, stays grayed out. Using Windows 10. I have followed the unstructions , installed all the drivers . All the ESP boards are listed including ESP32s.
