Re: ESP32-S3 Technical Reference Manual | 技术参考手册

The chapter about power saving is still missing from the Technical Reference Manual?
Chapter 12 Low-Power Management (RTC_CNTL) [to be added later].
What has changed vs the old ESP32?
Can I now listen for /receive BLE messages without keeping the whole CPU/modem awake?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Actual power consumption of ESP32 using only Bluetooth Low Energy

Have there been any improvements to BLE power consumption with the new ESP32-S3?

Re: BLE-only power consumption

So to summarize the ESP32 takes about 3mA, even with the optional 32Mhz Crystal,
while third party Bluetooth focused chips take about 10 µA. That's a huge difference!

Can we expect to see an improvement in this area with the upcoming ESP32-S3?

Re: What would you like to see in The Next Chip?

Besides what has aleady been said or even confirmed for ESP32 successor: [*] USB 2.0 Host Mode [*] 5GHz WiFi (RTT FTM is a nice add-on) We would also like to see [*]low power Bluetooth LE. Both advertise (ADV) and subscribe to GATT services. Currently the ESP32 takes about 3mA with the newest firmwa...
