Re: ESP32-ZERO V2 Info request

Yes, i know about it and is, for sure, an interesting board. I was just curious to know about that board because it seemed to have an interesting form factor. By the way, considering this is the only answer it seems i can get i thank you very much for that :)

Re: ESP32-ZERO V2 Info request

Did i ask for something impossible to answer?
I'm going to reformulate my question: Is there any schedule for the equivalent of ESP-WROOM32 for the ESP32 SIP module?

Thanks

ESP32-ZERO V2 Info request

In the (far) December 2017, i remember rudi shared on twitter a picture of ESP32-ZERO V2 board. It was an interesting module with SIP chip. Was this chip just for development/insiders or is there any chance to have it available sooner or later?

Thank you!

Re: ESP32-PICO-KIT v.4.1 Power ON Led

In my opinion this should be corrected. The fact that is a "getting started guide" doesn't mean he can't be improved. By the way, this is just my opinion.

Re: ESP32-PICO-KIT v.4.1 Power ON Led

Leaving aside the things you said about all the protections could be added, what i'm arguing about is the incongruency between what i read on the docs and what i obtain. You say they predicted it and the reason for certain choices is the cost? Ok, i can understand that, but then why the docs says th...

Re: ESP32-PICO-KIT v.4.1 Power ON Led

Hi permal, of course there is no usb cable attached. If we consider the schematics of che circuit it has to be the leaking you suppose, but i'm wondering why this has been not predicted in the circuit (the leaking could be easily managed inserting a diode before the voltage regulator) or not correct...

ESP32-PICO-KIT v.4.1 Power ON Led

Hello, i'm reasoning about a little problem that i'm facing using my ESP32-PICO-KIT v.4.1 from Espressif. I'm powering the board from 3.3V pin and i'm getting the Power ON Led turned on (red light). In the getting started page: https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp-idf/en/latest/get-started/get-st...

Re: ESP32 Power consumption considerations

Yes, this is a good point, but i'm wondering about what's happen a bit more in detail. Actually there are not so many components on the board and i don't understand how the deep sleep on the esp32 could influence the consumption of the rest of the board. We have regulator, led, Serial interface (CP2...

Re: ESP32 Power consumption considerations

I have one more doubt about the considerations we did. From my test i have: CPU (80MHz) + ELECTRONICS------------------------------38mA CPU (deep sleep) + ELECTRONICS-------------3.5mA This makes, as a rough estimation, 3.5mA the consumption of the electronics (regulator, led, etc.). If the CPU shou...
