So I deleted my old ESP-WHO and downloaded the latest ESP-WHO (as at today). Saw there was a couple of changes and thought I'd see if anything helped. I also re-did the "menuconfig" part and cleared all cameras except the OV2640, disabled the SPI option there too and made sure "partitions" was using...

Also, you did setup the camera using defconfig and menuconfig, right?

Just a wild guess here, but everything I see said to use 192.168.4.2 for the face-recognition stuff (which is failing me at the moment). I got everything from a timeout, white screen, to "nothing at this address" type message... So I tried 192.168.4.1 and everything came to life. Maybe work for you?

i just got an esp eye and am having a bit of an issue trying to get face detection and video to work as expected. the demo app that came on it did work correctly up to it not detecting any faces. So no boxex show up around any faces. i then setup the toolchain and installed the recognition solution...
